To commemorate the release of the BSSM anime on DVD in Japan, Takeuchi Naoko took the original LD cover art and retouched it, forming a hybrid anime/manga style of artwork>. The last (first press) disc(s) of each season includes a box to hold all the season's discs, featuring completely new artwork.
